Introduction To English Association
Shuguang English Association was founded in autumn 1997. The first President was Deng zhongkai, Senior Grade 1998. In 1998, Jiang Yilan was the second President Senior Grade 2002.
And in 2000, Li Zhen, Senior Grade 2003 was the third President. Now , in 2002. The forth President is Chen Xing, Senior Grade 2004.
The Advisers of Shuguang English Association are Mr. Wang Xiaolong and Liu Bin whom are headmasters of Shuguang Middle School. Mr. Wu Jun and Zhu Xiaotong. Miss Zeng Lianhui and Peng Tengyao who are teachers of English in our school are also Advisers. The general Adviser of Shuguang English Association is Mr. Peng Lixin who is also our English teacher, the head of the Foreign Languages teaching and research group. Now, there are 184 members in English Association.
Under the presiding of the President, all the members are realistic in approach to their work and diligent at their studies. They work hard at constructing the English atmosphere in school and receiving foreign guests from different countries.
Today, there are many activities in our school taken change by English Association. We have English Groadcast on every Tuesday and Thursday. We have English film show every Wednesday.
We put up English blackboard-newspapers and publish our English periodical every month,
Of course, we have English Corner every Friday afternoon.

蜀光中学英语协会成立于１９９７年秋季。
第一任会长是高１９９８级的邓钟凯；１９９８年，高２００２级蒋逸兰接任第二届会长；２０００年，高２００３级李臻任第三届会长；２００２年，高２００４级陈幸任第四届会长。
现任蜀光英语协会的顾问分别是王小龙校长和刘斌校长,总顾问的是我校高级教师彭礼信老师，任顾问的还有我校的吴君老师，曾莲辉老师，彭腾跃老师和朱晓彤老师。现英协成员共１８４人。
在各届会长的主持下，全体英协会员求真务实，为营造蜀光中学英语氛围，接待外国朋友作出了不可磨灭的贡献，现英协的活动有每周二四的英语广播，每周三中午的英语电影放映、英语角、英语文艺汇演英语讲座……
